Human Resources Management in the Hospitality Industry

This course will provide participants with a review of the history of the HRM field as well as insights into HRM theories and issues of particular relevance to the hospitality industry. Case studies and discussions will also be presented.

Students will learn about:

• The daily responsibilities and duties of HRM professionals.
• Discuss contemporary challenges in this field.
• The activities that typically occur within a human resources management department at
  a hospitality enterprise.
