J. WILLARD MARRIOTT FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP (Application Form Attached)

 
 

Description:

Scholarship in the form of a tuition award. Award up to $4,000.

Procedure:

Applicants must complete the attached form and return to the Central Office of the Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management.

Qualifications:

Recipients selected on the basis of academic promise and performance with due consideration to financial needs.

Eligibility:

Part-time or Full-time students in the Master of Tourism Administration program, including new admissions.

Deadline:

February 1 of each year.

Note: ***Marriott Scholarship cannot fund courses taken off campus***

 
 

GRADUATE ASSISTANT (Application Form Attached)

 
 

Description:

Financial package consisting of 18 credit hours of tuition award (9 credit hours per semester for two semesters), and salary ($5,000). The graduate assistant must work 20 hours/week for one academic year, which commences the last week in August and concludes May 31, of the following year. The award is for tuition only and does not include University fees.

Procedure:

Applicants should complete the attached application form and return to the Central office of the Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management.

Qualifications:

Recipients are selected on the basis of scholarship, research ability and work experience.

Eligibility:

Full-time students, including incoming students enrolled in the Master of Tourism Administration degree program.

Deadline:

February 1 of each year.
